The Burndy Patriot PAT500SJ is a 6-Ton scissor action cutter/crimper. The cutter/crimper features interchangeable scissor action cutting and crimping jaws. The Burndy PAT500SJ has ahead with 180° rotation and uses W and X style dies with the available crimping jaws (D3, BG/D3, O/D3). The tool is ergonomically balanced and is for use on copper, aluminum, ACSR, Copperweld, Alumoweld, 6201, 5005, compressed/compact conductors. The Burndy PAT500SJ can be ordered in kits with crimping and cutting jaws.

The tool accepts 18V Makita Lithium-Ion batteries, BL Series of size 2.0Ahr and greater if the plastic battery clip in the tool has a “star” molded into it. The “star” identifies acceptance of the BL series batteries.
