The ITC sUAS Level 1 Public Safety Thermography Certification training course is a 4-day course designed specifically to provide individuals in Public Safety Departments the theoretical and practical foundations necessary for effective Law Enforcement, Fire, HazMat, Search and Rescue, and Emergency Management sUAS thermal operations, corporation and public safety organization wanting focused training on sUAS aerial IR imagery, while also covering a variety of condition monitoring / predictive maintenance applications. This course is designed to introduce you to the world of aerial infrared thermography by describing the potential applications, type of equipment, different types of cameras, business opportunities, infrared science, marketing and report writing that is required to professionally enter this new and rapidly growing field. Attendees who complete all training course requirements and a thermography field assignment will receive a sUAS level 1 Infrared thermography certification that meets ASNT Standards for Certification.

Course Objectives

• Two days of Infrared Theory to include Thermal Science, Heat Transfer, sUAS Infrared Science and successful infrared techniques, with applications specific to Fire, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management.
• Two days of instruction on the development of your sUAS program and successful flight techniques instructed by a sUAS Law Enforcement Instructor with 23 years of service.
• The overall objective being the successful application of the science mixed with actual fight instruction application.
