The PCE LED refractometer is an analog measuring device for determining the refraction property of different liquids. LED refractometers are particularly suitable for applications in low or artificially lit environments. The LED light incorporated in the prismatic cover of the LED refractometer provides the necessary light for the measurement. Since the LED light is matched with the scaling of the LED refractometer, measurements are thus possible, for example, in basements without measurement errors caused by the artificial light. 

The different-scale LED refractometers are used for a variety of applications, such as Ochsle for the winegrower or a 0 … 32 Brix scale for measuring coolants, juices, and other emulsions. Due to the diopter adjustment possible on the eyepiece, an LED refractometer always ensures a sharp view of the scale.
