3-Pack (R,Y,B) 5-ft Premium Charging Hose Set, ¼-inch straight x 5/16-inch FM Valve
The CPS HK5NG is a convenient three-pack of ¼-inch patented 5-foot barrier hoses in red, yellow, and blue for safely and efficiently charging, recovering, and evacuating H/CFC, HFC, HFO, plus R410a, R134a, and R12234yf refrigerants in residential and commercial HVAC/R systems. The HK5NG hoses are equipped with a ¼-inch SAE female straight fitting and 5/16-inch SAE female SafeMate fitting.
Each hose features a patented T-shaped SafeMate valve and fitting on one end and an open, straight fitting on the other. The T-shaped SafeMate valve has a screw-down core depressor that activates refrigerant flow after the knurled brass fitting has been fully tightened into a service port. This protects technicians’ hands from frostbite and prevents refrigerants from escaping into the atmosphere. The SafeMate valve swivels above the brass nut so it will not loosen if a hose is moved during charging, recovery, or evacuation procedures.

Instructions
1. Hold knurled brass nut while turning aluminum knob counterclockwise until it stops.
2. Attach brass valve nut to service port.
3. Attach opposite end of hose to service device.
4. Turn aluminum knob clockwise to start flow.
