Description
Â
Illumination is provided by Motic’s Epi-Illuminator, containing a 12v/50w Halogen lamp. And to maximize versatility, Motic has designed the light source to also accept an LED module. Two LED sources are available, each with differing color temperatures, 4500K and 6000K. Furthermore, the unit’s power supply is separate from the stand to avoid unnecessary heat around the microscope and sample. The BA310MET-T also offers an additional transmitted light option. Sent standard with a 6v/30w Halogen lamp, this too is interchangeable with Motic’s LEDs.
Â
The BA310MET-T includes the new LM Plan objectives, specially designed for long working distances. The LM Plan objectives are built with high quality optical glass and contain a multi layer lens coating, providing improved contrast and image reproduction. For users with advanced resolution needs, Motic offers its EC-M Plan objectives in 20x and 50x magnifications.
Â
Standard eyepieces are the N-WF 10x/20, with a high eyepoint for eyeglass wearers. Diopter adjustment is possible on both sides, and reticles are also available for applications with measurement and counting.Â
Â
Digital documentation with the BA310MET-T is made easy with the Moticam, Motic’s own line of digital camera. A perfect accessory for any trinocular microscope, the Moticam are available in resolutions from 1.0MP to 10MP. There is also a line of research grade cameras, the MotiCam Pro (CCD), for users requiring maximum sensitivity and color fidelity.
