The Extech EX310 is a manual-ranging DMM with NCV detector and battery test function. Featuring an extra-large 2,000-count display, the EX310 enables users to quickly and conveniently check for voltage prior to attaching the multimeter’s test leads to the device under test. It offers 9 total functions, including AC/DC voltage to 600 volts, AC/DC current to 10 amps, resistance, diode testing and continuity testing. Plus, the battery test function lets users quickly check the condition of 1.5-volt and 9-volt batteries.

Easy to use, small and compact for convenient handling, the EX310 features an impact-resistant rubber holster for an excellent grip and protection from other gear while stored in your toolbox. When placed near AC voltage such as a live wire, outlet or switch, the device signals that voltage is detected via a red LED indicator and audible beeper. This compact meter’s 0.5 percent basic accuracy is comparable to higher-end meters.

Other Functions

The large 1-inch digits offer easy readability even at a glance. Powered by two AAA batteries, the device also has a low battery indicator. The EX310 measures 5.7 x 2.9 x 1.6 inches (HxWxD), and it weighs 9 ounces. It’s backed by a one-year limited warranty.
