Oberon 25 Cal TCG Arc Flash Coat with Escape Strap

The Oberon 25 Cal TCG Ultralight Arc Flash Coats with escape strap are an ultralight coat made from a proprietary blend of arc rated, inherently flame resistant, aramid fibers. The coat features reflective day/night striping on arms and legs for increased visibility, knit cuffs, a dual-stage zipper front closure, and an escape strap for both shock and arc flash rescue. The 25 Cal TCG Ultralight Arc Flash Coats with escape strap meet ANSI/ISEA 125 Level 2 conformity and arc flash PPE Category 3 standards with an arc rating 27 cal/cm2. Please refer to NFPA 70E or CSA Z462 Standards for specific selection requirements (See Electrical Safety Standard and PPE Categories in Documents section). An arc flash risk assessment must first be completed by the employer before the appropriate protection level can be determined.

Tip: Update arc flash PPE specifications to require all new equipment purchases include escape strap feature or incorporate an arc-rated vest with built-in escape strap that can be worn over any garment.
