Lens

• Clear: For general use. No color distortion and all polycarbonate have 99.9% UV absorption.
• Indoor Outdoor Blue: Overexposure to blue light, including smartphones, tablets, and computer screens, has been known to cause eyestrain, and fatigue and possibly contribute to long-term macular degeneration. I/O Blue lenses are uniquely coated to help filter out harsh blue light and improve worker comfort and visual acuity. Lenses are also treated with a contrast booster to enhance color contrast.
• Tinted: Tinted lenses relieve eyes from bright light and glare. Different colors serve specific conditions and applications.
• Mirror: In an outdoor environment, tinted lenses reduce the amount of sunlight and UV reaching the wearer’s eyes. Adding a mirror coating to the front of a lens will deflect a significant amount of sunlight away and also help reduce glare by up to 15% more than tinted alone.
• IR Filter: IR lenses protect your eyes from UV rays and flash burns, while also offering a high level of impact protection from flying objects associated with cutting, brazing, and torch soldering. These safety glasses for welding DO NOT have the same level of protection as a helmet and should NOT be worn instead of a welding mask when arc welding.

Lens Coating
