The Megger 830220-1 cable phasing meter measures voltage and determines the phase rotation of underground electrical distribution systems. This analog meter includes manual selection of one of two voltage ranges. The unit uses the capacitance test point of an elbow juncture for measuring voltage and phase. The meter measures voltage from 0 to 30kV, with an accuracy of + or – 8%. The unit operates at low voltage for operator safety. The 830220-1 is used by electricians and electrical contractors.
The Cable Phasing Meter is an instrument designed to measure voltage, determine phase potation and phase out cables when connected to the capacitive test points. This instrument is battery operated and is supplied with a ground and two measuring leads.
