Residential Solar PV Test Kit with Irradiance Meter and Solar Power Clamp
The Seaward 396A961K is a professional residential solar PV test kit for Solar PV or Solar Thermal installation or repair engineers. The kit includes the SS200R irradiance meter, the 396A961 Solar Power Clamp meter, a carry bag (backpack), and mounting bracket.
Solar Survey 200 Irradiance Meter
The SS200R is a rugged, handheld meter that measures irradiance and has a built-in inclinometer to measure roof pitch, compass to measure roof orientation, and thermometer to measure ambient air temperature and module temperature. The SS200R is an ideal tool for solar photovoltaic and solar thermal installers to conduct comprehensive solar site surveys. With a solar reference cell to measure true irradiance, the SS200R provides greater accuracy of measurement data compared to meters that use a photo diode detector.
The 200R can wirelessly connect to the PV150/PV200/PV210 and Solar Utility Pro (sold separately) to give real-time irradiance, ambient temperature, and PV module temperature measurement results simultaneously with the electrical tests being conducted, as required by the IEC 62446 international standard. All test results can then be downloaded from the PV150/PV200/PV210 and Solar Utility Pro to the relevant PC software.
The Solar Survey 200R model also includes data logging capability with a USB interface for data download to a PC. This allows for irradiance and temperature to be recorded at user-defined intervals from one to sixty minutes. The collected data can then be downloaded to a PC for analysis.

The Solar Power Clamp measures AC/DC Voltage, AC/DC Current, Power Factor, and Harmonics for measuring the performance of inverters. It is especially designed for installers and technicians interested in power measurement and analysis on AC & DC systems and carrying out diagnostic checks.
