Please note: the four tips listed above are in addition to the T18-D16 tip (chisel, 1.6mm) that already comes with the station. They are among the most popular and commonly used sizes and geometries, enabling users to perform a variety of different tasks.

The HAKKO FX-888DX Digital Soldering Station improves the user interface from the FX-888D using a more intuitive method for adjusting temperature and includes a parameter lock to prevent accidental digital calibration of the station when attempting to change temperature.

Available in three colorways

Hakko offers the FX-888DX in three unique colorways:

• FX888DX-010BY – Blue / Yellow
• FX888DX-010SV – Titanium Silver
• FX888DX-010YW – Sunflower Yellow

The FX-888DX uses a rotary encoder to change and set the temperature. Simply turn the knob left or right to adjust up or down, and press to set.

The station can also store up to five preset temperatures.

The FX-888DX station comes with the FX-8801 soldering iron (65W) and a T18-D16 tip (chisel, 1.6mm).

The FX-8801 soldering iron is compatible with T18 series tips.

For applications requiring more power, the FX-888DX is compatible with the optional FX-8806 soldering iron, providing up to 95W.

The FX-8806 is compatible with T32 series tips.

The FX-888DX is also compatible with several other tools, including tweezers and a nitrogen-compatible iron.
