VOLTAGE/TEMP MODULE

  • The M7102 cannot perform measurement by itself. A separately sold Data Logger LR8101 or LR8102 is required
  • A space-saving, multichannel measurement module
  • Safely conduct charge/discharge testing of increasingly high-voltage batteries
  • For 600 V or lower battery packs
  • 30ch, voltage and temperature (thermocouple) measurement
  • High-precision measurement of cell voltage
  • Ideal for standalone battery cell testing and semiconductor burn-in testing
  • Thermocouple is not provided by Hioki and must be purchased from a separate supplier.

Description

Hioki M7102

  • The M7102 cannot perform measurement by itself. A separately sold Data Logger LR8101 or LR8102 is required
  • A space-saving, multichannel measurement module
  • Safely conduct charge/discharge testing of increasingly high-voltage batteries
  • For 600 V or lower battery packs
  • 30ch, voltage and temperature (thermocouple) measurement

Description (Up to 30 channels)

Modules are required to connect the data logger to the device under test. The loggers can be combined with measurement modules to easily expand the number of input channels to a maximum of 300 channels for the LR8101 and 3,000 channels for the LR8202. Modules are sold separately.

Expandable

  • The M7102 measurement module features exceptional space efficiency and the ability to measure up to 30 channels of voltage and temperature data.
  • Up to 10 measurement modules can be connected to a single data logger, allowing the number of channels to be increased to 300 ch.
  • A JIS and EIA-standard 19-inch rack can accommodate one logger and six measurement modules for a total of 180 channels per shelf.
  • Furthermore, if up to 10 of the LR8102 advanced models are connected with optical cabling, their sampling can be synchronized, allowing the number of measurement channels to be increased to a maximum of 3000 ch.
  • It’s ideal for use in multi-point voltage and temperature measurement applications like inspections during battery cell formation processes and semiconductor burn-in testing.

Insulated

  • Terminal-to-ground voltage: 600 V DC (CAT II) Insulation
  • EN IEC 61010 Safety standard-compliant
  • Although the voltage of individual cells in a battery may be low at about 4 V, safely measuring the voltage at each cell of an 400 V battery pack, a type that is already being commercialized, requires an instrument with a maximum rated terminal-to-ground voltage of at least 400 V DC.
  • Since the M7102 has a maximum rated terminal-to-ground voltage of 600 V, it can accommodate testing of 400 V batteries with an ample margin of safety.

High Speed

  • Lightning-fast sampling.
  • Fine-grained voltage fluctuation data.
  • Sampling rate when using 1 channel to 30 channels: Up to 20 ms
  • Sampling rate when using 1 channel to 15 channels: Up to 10 ms
  • The M7102 can record variations in cell voltage and temperature during charge/discharge testing of vehicle battery packs.
