Comet T4311 – Temperature Transmitter with RS232 Interface

Measured temperature values are converted to RS232 serial output. Serial output RS232 – transmitter works with ModBus RTU communication protocol or with Advantech ADAM compatible protocol. Protocol is user selectable in special configuration mode by means of the PC. Serial link enables to read actual readings and modify transmitter configuration. Instrument works always in slave mode, i.e. responds only to master device query. Transmitters have the address space available from 1 to 255. Communication speed is 110 to 115200Bd.

Programmable transmitters and transducers with RS232 serial interface are designed to measure temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure of air in a non-aggressive environment. Transmitters and transducers are available in wall-mount and duct-mount versions or with a probe on a cable. For measuring temperature and relative humidity of compressed air is used type TxxxxP.

Digital conception with microprocessor allows determining the other computed humidity values, like dew point temperature, absolute humidity, specific humidity, mixing ratio, and specific enthalpy. Measured and calculated values are displayed on a two-line LCD display. Devices support Modbus RTU protocol, protocol compatible with standard Advantech-ADAM, ARION protocol, and communication with HWg-Poseidon devices. For a set of all parameters, you can use TSensor software.

Durable plastic case from ABS contains electronic and connection terminals. For easy connection/disconnection of the output, cable is used TxxxxL version with Lumberg connector (IP67) instead of a cable gland.
