Place a piece of reflective tape on the object to be measured and point the tachometer’s integral light beam at it. There are ten reflective tape strips, and each strip measures 23 x 0.25 inches (584 x 6mm).

It checks and analyzes motion and speed by simply aiming and synchronizing its flash rate (FPM) with a rotating object — ideal for measuring the speed of moving gears, fans, pumps, motors, and other equipment used in general maintenance, production, quality control, or laboratories. Measurements are read on the four-digit LED display. High accuracy is maintained over a wide, dynamic range via exclusive microcomputer LSI circuit and crystal control time-base.
