HYAMP Ground Bond Tester
Ground Bond Testing made easy. Verify the integrity of your product’s ground circuitry with the New HYAMP Ground Bond Tester. Ground Bond Testing has never been more efficient with on-board data storage, convenient front panel USB data collection, and front panel barcode connection capabilities. We’ve included AC and DC current capabilities within one Ground Bond Tester to improve testing flexibility. Interconnect the HYAMP Series with the Hypot Series to form a complete safety compliance system.
Benefits Designed with You in Mind
Data Transfer
Take the pain out of your data transfer with on-board flash drive support and local data storage. Instantly import test files directly to your instrument during set-up. Save and record up to 1,500 test results directly from your instrument.

Barcode Capability
]Increase efficiency and production throughput by incorporating a barcode scan. A simple scan will associate your DUT with the test sequence and test data.
Ground Bond Voltage Drop
Remove the math equations from your standard procedure. Our Ground Bond Voltage Drop feature calculates how much voltage is dropped across a ground circuit and converts the calculation into exactly the measurement you need.

AC and DC Ground Bond Capability
Simplify your test routine with 40 Amps of combined AC and DC test capability in one Ground Bond Tester.
Front Panel Controls
1. RESET BUTTON: Resets the instrument. If a failure condition occurs during a test, pressing this button will reset the system, shut off the alarm, and clear the failure condition. You must press the Reset button before performing another test or changing any of the setup parameters. This button also serves as an abort signal to stop any test in progress.
2. TEST BUTTON: This is a momentary contact switch used to start a test. Press the green button to turn on the high voltage output when in test mode. The indicator lamp within the button will light when the test expires with the pass condition.
3. TOUCH SCREEN GRAPHIC LCD: Displays all the information and allows full control of the instrument.
4. SENSE+ TERMINAL: Connector used to attach the + sense lead for 4-wire Kelvin current measurement. This connection provides accurate current measurement during the Ground Bond test.
5. SENSE- TERMINAL: Connector used to attach the – sense lead for 4-wire Kelvin current measurement. This connection provides accurate current measurement during the Ground Bond test.
6. POWER SWITCH: Powers the test instrument ON or OFF.
7. BARCODE USB PORT: This USB-style port allows for connecting a barcode scanner.
8. DATA USB PORT: This USB-style port allows for connecting a USB flash drive to extract test and system data.
9. CURRENT OUTPUT TERMINAL: Connector used to attach the high current output lead, adapter box high current lead, or test fixture high current lead to the instrument. This connection provides the output current for the ground bond and continuity.
10. TOGGLE: This button allows you to toggle between test files if you are wearing gloves.
11. MY MENU: Brings up the MyMENU screen.
12. HIGH CURRENT INDICATOR: This indicator flashes to warn the operator that a high current is present at a high current output terminal.
13. RETURN TERMINAL: Connector is used to attach the return test lead, adapter box return lead, or test fixture return lead to the instrument. This connection provides the return current path.
