222MS Threadlocker, 50ml Bottle
The Loctite 222MS is a purple, low-strength, mil-spec thread locker that is ideal for fastener diameters of 1/4in (6mm) and smaller. Its controlled lubricity allows for accurate clamp loads. Parts can be easily disassembled using ordinary hand tools. Applications include adjustment screws, countersunk head screws, and set screws on collars, pulleys, tool holders, and controllers. Suitable for use with low-strength metals such as aluminum or brass.
- Ideal for low-strength thread-locking of adjusting screws, countersunk head screws, and set screws
- Prevents fastener loosening on vibrating assemblies, e.g., pumps, gearboxes, or presses
- Especially suited to small thread sizes of 1/4in (6mm) or smaller
- Permits easy disassembly with ordinary hand tools for service and maintenance
- Meets Mil Spec: Mil-S-46163A Type II Grade M; NSF P1 Certified
