Hakko 394-01 – Battery Operated SMD Vacuum Pick-Up Tool
The suction power on the HAKKO 394 Vacuum Pick-up Tool provides smooth, even suction to hold a part in place while you line it up for exact placement. The perfect pick-up tool for surface mount components.
How to use
Select the nozzle and pad according to the object being handled and attached them to the handle. Mate the pad closely with the surface of the object you wish to pick up and press the button to turn on the suction. Suction will continue so long as the button is pressed. Release the button to release the object from the pad.
The suction force varies depending on the surface condition of the object.
Service life of the battery
Pick-up Repetition Limit: ~30,000 pick-ups (with alkaline batteries)
A 26mm x 26mm QFP is picked up for 2 seconds using a 10mm diameter pad and then released for 1 second. This cycle is repeated continuously until the QFP is no longer picked up.
Continuous Pick-up time:
~15 hours: This is the time period from the moment a 26mm x 26mm QFP is picked up using a 10mm diameter pad to the moment the QFP drops.
