Desco 16475 – Portable Mat with Wrist Strap

The 16475 kit features a canvas carrying pouch and a red 18 mil dissipative mat. The mat has one female grounding snap and a stitched seam around the edge. A common-point ground cord is supplied to ground the work mat and offers two directly grounded banana jack receptacles for wrist strap connections as well as a combination banana plug/alligator clip termination.

Featuring a common point ground system for grounding static control devices, these field service kits are manufactured from antistatic materials that prevent charge generation. When properly grounded, the Field Service Kit mat will remove the charge from conductive objects when they are placed on the surface.
