Description
SCS 8900 Series Dissipative Rubber Worksurface Mat
The SCS 8900 Series Dissipative Rubber Mats and Rolls meet ANSI/ESD S20.20 required limit and the recommendation of work surface standard ANSI/ESD STM4.1-2017. The product is constructed using a top color layer of static dissipative neoprene rubber laminated to a bottom black layer of conductive neoprene rubber. Both layers are made from vulcanized synthetic rubber, which offers resistance to oil, grease and most common solvents. They offer increased resistance to heat and hot solder as compared to vinyl or olefin materials. It is chlorine free.
SCS 8900 Series Dissipative Rubber Worksurface Mat:
- Dissipative dual layer rubber material (Thickness 0.06in to 0.07in) – Provides a worksurface that does not generate a static charge and will control the discharge rate from all conductors (including ESD susceptible items) that are placed on the surface
- 2-Layer neoprene rubber material – Constructed using a top color layer of static dissipative neoprene rubber laminated to a bottom black layer of conductive neoprene rubber
- High Strength Vulcanized Synthetic Neoprene Rubber Heat and Chemical Resistant – Designed to withstand abrasion, stretching, and tearing and may be used in soldering applications with flux and other chemicals
- Color Top Layer – (Rtg) 1 x 10E6 to < 1 x 10E9 ohms; (Rtt) 1 x 10E6 to < 1 x 10E9 ohms
- Conductive Bottom Layer – (Rtt) < 1 x 10E5 ohms
- Ultraviolet (UV) Stabilizer Additives – Stabilizes color retention, ensures ESD performance over time and eliminates surface layer deterioration resulting in cracking when the product is flexed
- Free of chlorine – No danger of toxic outgassing
- Lead-free RoHS compliant
- Made in the USA
Available in Blue or Grey Rolls and in Kits.
