Description

Bird 4044
- Designed to be used for continuous power monitoring in multiple Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems
- Compatible with Bird 3141 Channel Power Monitor
- Economical and capable of measuring the output power of either analog or digitally modulated radios
- Accurate to within +/-5% of reading with traceability to NIST
- Non-directional and ideal for use at the input to each channel of the transmit combiner where the VSWR is well controlled
Non-Directional RF Power Sensor
Bird 4044 Series Non-Directional Power Sensors are analog power sensors designed for use with the Bird Channel Power Monitor (CPM).
The 4044 Series power sensors are typically used to measure forward average power on a 50 ohm RF transmission line with a maximum 125 watt forward power level in a frequency band with an overall range of 118 to 960 MHz. Please note, this frequency range is not covered by one single sensor – please see below for more information on part numbers and options.
Product features
- Input RF connector – N-type (female) shown, other types available
- Output RF connector – N-type (male) shown, other types available
- Data connector – RJ25 connector supplies power and data connection
- LED (green) – Illuminates when power is applied to the sensor

Connections and usage
