The Botron B496203 Intelligent DC-Ionizer 3 Fan Overhead Ion blower is internet-ready and monitored with a built-in LED screen. Built-in LED lights and an advanced DC type design. Easy to hang with bolt-on brackets. Low energy, only 34W. Easy to remove fan grill for easy service of extended life emitters. Fast static decay and excellent ion balance. Comes with Auto Ion Balance and an Abnormal HV monitoring system.

As with all of Botron’s ionization units, the B496203 is designed to neutralize electrostatic charge in personal benchtop environments, sensitive materials assembly, packaging, clean room, and laboratories. The unit can be mounted but is not limited to the underside of shelving, ceilings, and walls.

Overview

Electrostatic discharges are typically something we cannot see, hear or smell, on rare occasions, we can feel them (think shock from touching a doorknob). Because of this, serious ESD risks exist undetected in close proximity to, or within, the workspace every day.

Botron’s Intelligent Ionizers are designed to fill this void. Equipped with dual-purpose sensors that continuously monitor the balance of the plasma, and detect static fields in proximity to the workbench. Our Intelligent ionizers not only will prevent static charges by neutralizing charge potential but alarm when it detects electrostatic threats be it an ungrounded operator at or near the bench or an isolated conductor such as a chip.
