Description

Botron Conductive Grid Tape
- Available in four widths – 0.5”, 0.75”, 1” and 2”
- Designed to combat electromagnetic interference by EMI shielding sensitive components
- Non-smudging and non-cracking
- Dual layer
- Thin conductive grid held between two layers – outer low charge cellophane and a specially formulated low charge adhesive
- Produces very little charge when peeling and stripping from board level components
Botron’s Conductive Grid Tape is specifically designed to combat electromagnetic interference (EMI). EMI can cause electronic components to act up and interfere with performance. Every exposed pin and lead on a PCB is an antenna and will pick up EMI from the surrounding environment. Conductive Grid Tape effectively shields EMI sensitive components from electromagnetic interference.
A thin conductive grid is sandwiched between two layers working as an EMI shield – an outermost low charging clear cellophane and a specially formulated low charging adhesive.
The conductive grid acts as both a faraday cage for protection against static fields and shielding against electromagnetic energy.
