The Burndy Patriot PATCUT 2156 is a 10-Ton latch-head cutter. The cutter features a specialized latch-head and a 180° head rotation. The Burndy PATCUT 2156 is used for cutting ACSR (up to 2156 KCMIL), aluminum, copper cable, ground rod, rebar, soft steel bolts, standard GUY, and EHS GUY strand.
The tool accepts 18V Makita Lithium-Ion batteries, BL Series of size 2.0Ahr and greater if the plastic battery clip in the tool has a “star” molded into it. The “star” identifies acceptance of the BL series batteries.
