Description
Compliance 1.2×50-7200P – MegaPulse Surge Tester, 39 Ohm
The Compliance West model 1.2×50-7200P MegaPulse surge tester was designed with test EN60335 in mind. Built in a 17″ by 6U enclosure, it can provide outputs up to 7.2kV with a virtual impedance of 12 ohms, and is provided with our fast charge power supply to allow repetitive pulses within 2 sec. The waveform generated is in accordance with IEC 61180. A front panel switch is used to safely reverse polarity. For automated pulse train testing, use the Compliance West MegaPulse TestMinder option, which controls the unit from a PC.
A Compliance West Surge Tester. That means it outputs a guaranteed waveform but won’t break the bank. We don’t believe in frills that never get used but we do believe in providing a user-friendly, reliable tester that outputs the waveform it is supposed to, time after time.
The MegaPulse 1.2×50-12 waveform is in tolerance with the requirements of IEC 60060 from 400V – 12kV. The IEC 60060 1.2×50 tester is referenced in IEC 60335 and IEC 61730. Built with a relay conforming to the requirements of IEC 60065, Figure 7b. Optionally, the MegaPulse 1.2×50-12 can also perform the tests required in UL 60950 Annex N (in compliance from 2000 – 7000 V) for either the 39 ohm tester.
