The Digilent MCC USB-1024LS is a digital I/O data acquisition device that adds 24 lines of logic-level digital I/O to any USB port. It provides a 2.5 mA sink input and 2.5 mA source output. The device is USB powered; No external power is required.

An onboard industry-standard 82C55 programmable peripheral interface chip provides 24 discrete digital I/O lines in four ports. You can configure each digital port independently for either input or output. All I/O connections are made to the screw terminals located along each side of the device.

Software support includes DAQami, an optional out-of-the-box application for data logging, visualization, and signal generation. Data can be viewed in real-time or post-acquisition on user-configurable displays. Drivers are included for the most popular applications and programming languages, including Visual C++, Visual C#®, Visual Basic.NET, DASYLab, LabVIEW, Linux, MATLAB, and Python.
