Using a unique modular design, Ident-Ex 01 can be specifically configured to the customer‘s requirements by selecting different head modules.

When requirements change, the head module on the unit can be replaced by one of the ecom-approved Service Centers.

To cover all technologies such as 1D & RFID, the Ident-Ex 01 makes use of multiple head modules.

The device can be connected via Bluetooth to one of our base products Smart-Ex, Ex-Handy as well as the Tab-Ex Series, and even with any generic device.

The automatic identification and tracking of items, in combination with direct collection and data entry, into computer systems or handheld devices, opens up possibilities to control, locate, and identify objects accurately. The traditional 1D Barcode (also known as linear or one-dimensional barcode) pattern is made up of parallel lines in various widths and spaces. Originally they were scanned by specific barcode readers or optical scanners and they are mostly known for their usage at supermarket checkouts.

RFID Tags (or “radio frequency identification”) are trackable tags that exist in various sizes and shapes and can be attached to any object. These tags hold electronically stored information and can be read by specific RFID readers. Rather than barcodes, the RFID Tag needs not to be in sight of the reader, so it may be embedded in various objects.
