The Fieldpiece SC480 is a clamp meter designed for HVACR usage, with functionality including power measurement, phase rotation and more. The SC480 is wireless, has a range of 115 feet, and is compatible with the Fieldpiece Job Link app. Job Link enables technicians to easily document measurements and clearly communicate the health of a system to customers.

Features include:

• Electrical Testing for HVACR
• True RMS readings through the clamp or leads. Inrush current mode to capture starting amps
• Test 3-Phase Power with Only Two Leads
• With an alligator test lead (included) connected to L1, you can determine phase rotation with one hand
• VFDs voltage accuracy
• Low Pass Filter (LPF) to remove noise and get true voltage
• Capacitance
• Test questionable motor start and run capacitors. Determine when a capacitor needs to be replaced
• Molex Test Leads
• Swap out your regular lead tips with the super thin Molex tips to get readings on hard to reach circuitry
• Magnetic Hanger
• Hanging strap flips out to keep the meter locked in place

The Fieldpiece SC480 can communicate wirelessly with your Smart Device, and is compatible with Fieldpiece’s Job Link app. Pair the SC480 with other Job Link tools, and easily document a complete system snapshot. Measurements are live and in real time so you can see exactly how adjustments are affecting the system.

Unlike earlier versions of Fieldpiece wireless tools, the SC480 does NOT require the JL2 transmitter.
