FLIR ITC LEVEL II-ONS-ONL – Level 2 Thermography Certification (Private Online, for up to 20 Students)

Level II Certification

Our Practical Thermography, Level II Certification class is for Level I certified thermography professionals with six months of experience or more, seeking to broaden their knowledge of infrared. This course focuses on strengthening and improving your imaging and temperature measurement skills.

• A thorough review of the concepts taught in the Level I certification course that will bring you up to date with the latest IR cameras and imaging techniques used by thermography professionals
• Advanced, practical image analysis and reporting by using advanced camera operations and temperature measurement concepts
• Expanded understanding of heat transfer theory to give you the knowledge you need to analyze the thermal anomalies you’ll see under a variety of applications and conditions

• Advanced radiometric concepts of emissivity and reflectivity that will hone your temperature measurement skills
• Real-world lessons learned that will help you approach inspections in a safe, professional manner
• Practical, hands-on camera exercises that will enhance your ability to measure temperatures and diagnose critical issues

Students who complete all training course requirements receive a Level I Electrical Infrared Thermography Certification.

Certification Courses are developed in accordance with CP-105 and SNT-TC-1A guidelines published by ASNT (American Society of Nondestructive Testing). ASNT is a globally recognized developer of qualification and certification standards for NDT personnel.

Continuing Education Credits: ITC: 24 CEUs

IR Camera – Students will be required to complete various labs & exercises throughout the duration of the course.

Laptop – Examinations will be administered electronically. Tablets are also acceptable.

IR Reporting Software – Please have the software installed. The software can be used to assist with many of the camera lab exercises.
