Fluke 1LAC-A-II Non-Contact Low Voltage Detector

The Fluke 1LAC-II-A-II VoltAlert Voltage Detector is a pen-style, pocket-sized non-contact low voltage detector that tests for energized circuits by sensing the steady state electrostatic field produced by AC voltage through insulation. If voltage is present, the tip glows red and the detector beeps (optional). It is suitable for use by both electricians and nonprofessionals. This instrument detects 20 to 90VAC, has a safety rating of 1000V Category IV, and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61010-1:2001, Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 61010-1 (2nd ed.), Canadian Standards Association (CSA) CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 61010-1-04, and ISA-82.02.01 Pollution Degree 2. It runs on two AAA batteries (included). Applications include testing a terminal strip, outlet, or supply cord. It has a round tip.
