Compact Preheater (470W)
The HAKKO FR-830 Preheater is a compact and low cost solution for hot air preheating of printed circuit boards. The design of the FR-830 delivers consistent heat through the closed-loop temperature control allowing you to select a preheating temperature between 302°- 572 °F (150 °C – 300 °C). The new heater and fan design makes the HAKKO FR-830 the most durable hot air preheater HAKKO has ever made.
Optional external switches
An optional hand switch (B2763) and foot switch (B1649) are available which can be connected to the unit to START/STOP preheating.
Optional extension pipe
The optional extension pipe (B3263) can be used to focus the discharged air.
Connection with the Hakko FM-206
The Hakko FM-206 can be connected to HAKKO FR-830 with an optional connecting cable (B3685), which permits HAKKO FM-206 to be used along with the FR-830.
