The Ideal FT-45 STARTER KIT is a feed-thru starter kit designed to provide you with Ideal’s recommended tools and plugs to cut, strip, and terminate Ideal’s feed-thru modular plugs onto twisted pair cables.

The kit includes:

30-495 FT-45 Crimp Tool – features a compact design that trims wire flush with connector end and works for CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A RJ-45 feed-thru, standard, and shielded modular plugs.

45-605 PrepPRO Cable Stripper – uses a fixed blade that requires no adjustment while stripping UTP/STP CAT 5e, CAT6, and CAT6A twisted pair cable with a replaceable blue cartridge. You can also strip RG59, RJ59 Plenum, RJ6, RJ6 Plenum, RG-6 Quad, and RG-6 Quad Plenum coaxial cables with a replaceable grey cartridge.
