The JBC DKR-2A Desktop Robot for Automation processes combines JBC’s most Efficient Soldering System with high repeatability and excellent performance, providing the best soldering quality and reliability on serial production.

According to your needs, there are two different versions/models. One for general soldering applications which works with R245 Cartridges, and another for those soldering applications that require a large amount of heat which works with R470 Cartridges.

DKR is a complete soldering system that covers all requirements: accurate tip temperature, soldering time control, solder wire feeding, and tip cleaning; all controlled by the teach pendant provided as standard equipment.

The DKR-2A provides easy configuration through its intuitive menu and real-time tip temperature monitoring. Different working temperatures can be selected during the same application to achieve the best soldering quality on each soldering point.

The DKR-2A’s console offers an interactive user-friendly interface and data transfer between robots.

Functions include:

• Configuration of soldering point parameters: tip temperature, solder amount, soldering time
• Configuration of I/O ports
• Configuration of system parameters: operation, location, speed, equipment

The robot’s XY axis travel range can be customized and 2 Y axis versions are available, so the operator can set up the next production item while the robot is soldering. This reduces production dead times. In addition, a CCD combined with an industrial computer can be installed for complex applications in which computer vision is needed for a proper soldering job.
