JBC RMSE-2QF – Complete Rework System (Shop Air Not Required); 230 VOLT VERSION

The RMSE-2QF is a complete rework system, with soldering, desoldering and hot air functionality. The RMSE-2QF includes a DDU two-channel control station, JT hot air station, T245-A handle, DR560-A desoldering iron and much more. This version operates on 230 volts and is not designed for use in the United States.

This system also includes an MSE electric desoldering module, therefore shop air is NOT required for operation.

Please note, tips are sold separately for the T245-A handle. The DR560-A desoldering iron includes a C560003 already installed.

Note regarding C245 tips – the accessories section of this page contains only the most common C245 tips, as there is a very large number of shapes and sizes available. NESTES Instruments does carry the full C245 series – please refer to the document linked above which lists all available models and search via the search bar at the top of this page for additional items. 

The DDU Control Unit manages up to 2 tools simultaneously and is fully compatible with 10 different JBC tools. It works with JBC Exclusive Heating System and the intelligent Sleep and Hibernation Modes.

The station features all the Excellence range benefits such as station customization, full control of soldering processes and remote work management.

• Stand automatic detection makes the tools enter in Sleep & Hibernation mode when not being used.
• Sleep lowers tip temperature below solder melting point, preventing tips iron dissolution into the solder.
• Hibernation cuts off the power supply making the tip reach room temperature thus preventing oxidation and saving energy.

• Extend tip life lowering the temperature while the tool is not being used.
• JBC tips last 5 times longer than other brands thanks to the Exclusive Heating System and Sleep & Hibernation mode.

This system also includes a JT hot air station, designed for repairing all types of SMDs quickly and safely, including the biggest QFPs and PLCCs.

Profiles mode

There are two work modes to choose from – manual and profile. In manual mode, the operator can set temperature values and air flow rate depending on the task. In the profile model, the operator can set up and edit as many as 25 profiles for temperature and airflow.

Control Thermocouple

Users can read the temperature at a specific point on the PCB with the control thermocouple. This helps protect components or a specific area on the PCB and provides greater precision when regulating the temperature.

There are two work modes available for use with the control thermocouple:

Auto-stop function

The auto-stop function is a safety measure that guarantees the heat is automatically cut off when the tool is in the stand. This also means you save power and extend the life of the tip. There is also an auto-start feature. When selected, the tool automatically heats up when lifted from the stand.
