The JBC UCR control box manages TR and TRA soldering irons, specifically developed for automated soldering processes. The UCR245 is used for standard soldering requirements and UCR470 for heavy duty soldering requirements.

More than 40 commands help control parameters such as Temperature, Sleep, Hibernation and Control Box status. It also allows you to get information about errors and hours counter. In order to establish the communication between UCR Control Box and the robot (PC or PLC) JBC provides RS232 Communication Protocol

As part of the JBC Solder Kits for Robot the UCR Control Box is compatible with TR and TRA Irons.

JBC Soldering Kits for Robot

The JBC soldering kits for robot are available general soldering and for intensive heavy duty soldering. The complete kit consists of the following components which can be purchased separately or as a kit (soldering iron, control box, solder feeder, tip cleaner, cartridge stand).

TRA Automatic Soldering Irons, in combination with CSR Cartridge Stands, feature Automatic Cartridge Exchange which allows the soldering robot using different tip geometries to get the highest soldering quality.

In order to establish the communication between JBC UCR Control Box and the robot (PC or PLC), JBC provides the RS232 communication protocol.

The JBC SFR Solder Feeder includes a solder wire perforation function, allowing flux flow and outgassing to minimize solder splashing.

The JBC CLR Tip Cleaner with its 50 mm (1.97in) diameter, brushes the soldering tip thoroughly clean in just 1 second increasing its heat transfer capacity.

The GSFR solder feeder guide kit varies according to solder diameter, with or without perforations and the JBC robot cartridges feature excellent heat transfer and durability.
