The Kester 109 Flux Thinner is used for reducing solids or replacing evaporated solvent, resulting in maximum efficiency of the flux in an open vessel application such as foam fluxing or dipping. Flux thinners should be added if the Specific Gravity of the Titration test results indicates that the solvent needs to be increased. A test for flux balance should be performed every 4 hours of direct exposure to air.
