Keysight’s P93xxB Streamline Series Vector Network Analyzers let you balance your budget, bench space, and speed with a Thunderbolt 3 interface.

Packaged in a compact chassis and controlled by an external computer with powerful data processing capabilities and functionalities, the updated B models offer high-speed Thunderbolt interfaces. The firmware running on the PC has the same intuitive GUI as the other Keysight VNAs to reduce switching costs between models.

The Keysight P93xxB series of vector network analyzers are available with different maximum frequency capabilities to suit your needs and budget. The B series also includes both two-port and four-port (select frequencies) options. Please see the table below for a comparison. USB instruments are very common. When shopping for small-form-factor equipment, you may have trouble distinguishing between vendors with similar specifications. The Keysight Streamline Series VNA is based on proven measurement science. It shares a common GUI with high-end instruments — enabling you to implement the Streamline Series into your workflow easily.

Network analyzer software tools enable you to investigate, characterize, and troubleshoot your designs in various measurement applications. Simplify complex measurements such as automatic fixture removal, scalar mixer / converter calibrated measurements, and time domain on your P93xxB with software applications.

Keysight offers the IO Libraries Suite which contains instrument control packages; this is available for download on the Keysight website. More advanced options are available for purchase in the Accessories section of this webpage.

Note: While the IO Libraries Suite will provide instrument functionality, many users will require the optional packages to meet their testing needs.

Two P93xxB vector network analyzers can be linked to extend the test ports from two to four (or more with P938xB). This configuration requires the purchase of an additional VNA, a multiple instrument configuration kit, and multiport calibrated measurement software. Electronic calibration (ECal) modules make calibration of Keysight network analyzers fast, easy, and accurate. Precision 2-port ECal modules support a variety of connectors and frequencies. Connectors can be configured as female-female, male-male, or female-male. Two-port calibrations take less than half the time and number of connections versus traditional mechanical calibration kits.

Keysight also offers mechanical calibration kits. These kits contain a set of physical devices called standards. Mechanical calibration requires more work and care on the part of the technician, but it can be more accurate, and the basic kits can be more cost effective.
