The LX Microscopes by UNITRON 18743 is a dimmable, high output LED light source. It contains 80 high output LED lamps, drawing only 18 watts of power, while producing 5800 foot candles of light at a 4.5″ working distance. LEDs are contained in two concentric rings of 40, and are controlled via 8 quadrant switches. This light source has an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours, and is ideal for inspection of surface cracks, welds, solder joints and much more.
