Meriam 33TLow Pressure Wet Tap

Use of the 33T allows insertion and removal without process shutdown. The 33T probe consists of standard brass head and 316SS probe and installs through a wet tap assembly. The wet tap assembly consists of a packing gland, pipe nipple, insertion valve, and thredolet or pipe saddle clamp. The 33T has 1/8″ FNPT connections and is shipped with wet tap assembly and safety chain.

Meriam wet tap accutubes have the capability of being installed, inserted and removed from service without shut down of the flow pipe. Insertion mechanisms range from hand drive with capture chain, to socket drive using threaded insertion rods and nuts, to gear drives with SS jack screws and lifting rods. Meriam supports a wide range of mounting requirements including various thread sizes and flange sizes / ratings.
