The Metcal AC-BVX250-DUCT is an adapter for direct ducting of BVX-250 exhaust to building ventilation via 3″ ducting.

The BVX-250 fume extractor can be easily modified for direct connection to a ducting system.

The diverter is held on the unit by six small tabs. Gently insert a small flat head screwdriver into the slot that corresponds to the top most tab. With the head of the screwdriver, push down slightly on the tab. You will feel the tab release. Repeat this process until enough tabs have been released to remove the diverter.

Replace the diverter with the AC-BVX250-DUCT adapter. It is secured to the BVX-250 using the same tab system as the diverter. Make sure the adapter fits snuggly.

Simply attach the standard 3″ ducting to the adapter using an adjustable worm clamp.
