Metcal CVC series tips are available in a large number of shapes and sizes. Users can also select from five separate temperature ranges, which are as follows:

• 500 Series – Maximum Temperature 575°F
• 600 Series – Maximum Temperature 675°F
• 700 Series – Maximum Temperature 775°F
• 800 Series – Maximum Temperature 875°F
• 900 Series – Maximum Temperature 925°F

Cartridge Smart Numbering Scheme

With the introduction of Connection Validation, Metcal is migrating to a new smart numbering convention that is designed to assist the operator or the process engineer in the selection of the correct cartridge for the application.
