Oberon 100 Cal TCG Arc Flash Kits (Hood, Coat, Bib)

Oberon TCG100 Series Arc Flash Kit includes – TCG100 coat (TCG100-CT) or TCG100 coat with escape strap (TCG100-CT-ES) and bib-overalls (TCG100-BIB), TCG100 hood (TCG100-C) with optional ventilation system (TCG100-C+HVS) or ventilation system and light (TCG100-C+HVSL).

The Oberon 100 Cal TCG Ultralight Arc Flash Coats and Bib Overalls are ultralight and made from a proprietary blend of arc rated, inherently flame resistant, aramid fibers. The coat and bib feature reflective day/night striping on arms and legs for increased visibility, knit cuffs, and a dual-stage zipper front closure. The 100 Cal TCG Ultralight Arc Flash Coats and Bib Overalls meet ANSI/ISEA 125 Level 2 conformity with an arc rating 100 cal/cm2, NFPA 70E Arc Flash Category 4 or CSA Z462 Category 5. Please refer to NFPA 70E or CSA Z462 Standards for specific selection requirements (See Electrical Safety Standard and PPE Categories in Documents section). An arc flash risk assessment must first be completed by the employer before the appropriate protection level can be determined.

The Oberon 100 Cal TCG Arc Flash Hood utilizes a patented True Color Grey (TCG) arc flash shield technology which produces no color distortion while performing common work tasks and comes with a scratch resistant, anti-fog coating. The Oberon HVS is an optional fresh air arc flash hood ventilation system that is pocket mounted in the rear of hood, includes a high precision fan motor which provides over 8 CFM of fresh air around the head and face. The Oberon HVSL option includes the hood ventilation system with an adjustable light that clips onto front of hood, providing 70 lumens of light and146 hours of run time.

True Color Grey (TCG) is a medium density filter that allows all wavelengths of visible light to pass through without causing any color distortion. The end result is a nearly clear experience for the worker when performing complex electrical tasks.
