The Oberon 12 CAL LAN HOOD-C Arc Flash Hood with Hard Cap is made from a lightweight and durable flame-resistant fabric. It meets ANSI/ISEA 125 Level 2 Conformity and Arc Flash PPE Category 2 Standards with an arc rating of 12 cal/cm2. Hood Ventilation System and LED Light
The optional hood ventilation system (HVS) model provides over 6 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of fresh air around the head and face to keep the user cool and comfortable on hot days while working in an LAN Arc Flash Suit. The hood ventilation system includes a durable and inherently flame-resistant plastic housing, fresh air bladder, and reinforced plastic spiral hose. Another optional model includes a hood ventilation system and LED light (HVSL). The hood mounted LED light easily clips onto the front of the hood to provide hands free task lighting while working in dark or low light conditions.Â

The Power of Clarity – True Color Grey (TCG)
True Color Grey is a medium density filter that allows all visible light to pass through without causing any color distortion.
Oberon’s patented TCG Technology has finally solved the biggest issue electricians face when wearing appropriate Arc Flash protection. Historically, they have always experienced color distortion when looking through their protective shields.
The end result is a nearly clear experience for the worker when performing electrical tasks. With the advent of this new technology, electrical workers will no longer struggle to see colored wires or electrical tape while working energized.
