The Oberon 12 CAL LAN KIT is an arc flash suit set that meets ANSI/ISEA 125 Level 2 conformity and Arc Flash PPE Category 2 standards with an arc rating of 12 cal/cm2. Please refer to NFPA 70E or CSA Z462 Standards for specific selection requirements (See Electrical Safety Standard and PPE Categories in the Documents section).

Each 12 CAL LAN KIT comes with a hood with hard cap, coat, and bib overalls. HVSL models additionally include a front mounted LED lamp and hood ventilation system for increased comfort and vision while performing electrical safety tasks. The hood, coat, and bib overalls are made from an inherently flame-resistant fabric and are Navy Blue. Please note, storage bags are sold separately.

The included hood utilizes a patented True Color Grey (TCG) arc flash face shield technology which produces no color distortion while performing common work tasks and comes with a scratch resistant, anti-fog coating.

HVSL models include a fresh air hood ventilation system and front mounted LED light for increased comfort and vision while performing electrical safety tasks.

The pocket mounted ventilation system includes a high precision fan motor which provides over 6 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) of fresh air around the head and face and comes complete with a durable and inherently flame-resistant plastic housing, fresh air blader, and reinforced plastic spiral hose. The hood fan takes 4 AA batteries (not included). NAFTA compliant.

The adjustable lamp easily clips onto the front of any TCG or LAN series hood to provide hands-free task lighting while working in dark or low light conditions. The lamp provides 70 Lumens of light and 146 hours of burn time. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included). USMCA compliant.

True Color Grey is a medium density filter that allows all visible light to pass through without causing any color distortion.

Oberon’s patented TCG Technology has finally solved the biggest issue electricians face when wearing appropriate Arc Flash protection. Historically, they have always experienced color distortion when looking through their protective shields.
