This Oberon 55 Cal TCG Arc Flash Kit includes – TCG55 coat with escape strap (TCG55-CT-ES); TCG55 bib-overalls with 26in leg zipper (TCG55-BIB-LZ); TCG55 hood (TCG55-C) or with ventilation system and light (TCG55-C+HVSL).

The Oberon 55 Cal TCG Arc Flash Coats and Bib Overalls are ultralight and made from a proprietary blend of arc rated, inherently flame resistant, aramid fibers. The coat and bib feature reflective day/night striping on arms and legs for increased visibility, knit cuffs, and a dual-stage zipper front closure. Coats include escape strap (10ft long Kevlar strap which can be used to assist in contact release or to drag a worker away from harm. It can also be used as a secondary communication device). Bib-overalls have a 26in Leg Zipper.

The 55 Cal TCG Arc Flash Coats and Bib Overalls meet ANSI/ISEA 125 Level 2 conformity and arc flash PPE Category 4 standards with an arc rating 55 cal/cm2. Please refer to NFPA 70E or CSA Z462 Standards for specific selection requirements (See Electrical Safety Standard and PPE Categories in Documents section). An arc flash risk assessment must first be completed by the employer before the appropriate protection level can be determined.

The Oberon 55 Cal TCG Arc Flash Hood utilizes a patented True Color Grey (TCG) arc flash shield technology for a nearly clear hood window that provides 100% true color acuity, includes anti-fog and anti-scratch resistant coatings, useful while performing common work tasks. The arc flash face shield is made from a durable polycarbonate for long lasting protection from harsh environments. The Oberon HVSL an optional fresh air arc flash hood ventilation system that is pocket mounted in the rear of hood, includes a high precision fan motor which provides over 8 CFM of fresh air around the head and face. with an adjustable light that clips onto front of hood, providing 70 lumens of light and 146 hours of run time.
