The 381 Vacuum Base Panavise is widely used for portable applications. The 381 can be taken anywhere you need for hobbies, electronics and small home repairs, and quickly attaches to any smooth, non-porous flat surface with the flip of a lever.
Nylon jaws offer excellent electrical insulation and gentle holding power, and can withstand continuous heat tolerance up to 200°F,and intermittent heat to 300°F. Jaws are 2.5″ wide, 0.5″ tall and open to 2.25″, and a variety of interchangeable jaws are available.
For maximum versatility, the PanaVise 382 base accepts all 300 series Heads and any 5/8″ (15.9mm) diameter post. Please see the 300 Series Compatibility Chart in the Documents section of this page for more information.
When a garage work shop is not available you can use your Model 381 on any smooth non-porous table, including some types of kitchen tables.
