The ORP measuring device is used to determine the redox potential in laboratories, industry, and environmental protection. In addition to the classic use in laboratories, the ORP measuring instrument is used in the industrial sector, such as food production. The ORP meter has been designed to be a handy meter powered by batteries. Thus, mobile use is enabled and facilitated by a belt clip.

Chemically, the redox potential describes the oxidation and reduction potential of a solution. In the industry, the ORP meter is used in addition to food production and also in the detoxification of wastewater. This is done by reducing chromate or the oxidation of cyanide.

The ORP meter is a durable instrument that allows you to replace the electrode after a long period of use. The measured values ​​are shown on display or can also be stored on the internal measured value memory. This measured value memory has a capacity of 50 measured values, whereby the measured values ​​are provided with a time and date stamp. Thus, they are traceable, and a corresponding analysis is facilitated in favor of the user.
