Turbopump with Hybrid Bearing and TC 400 (DN 100 ISO-K)
The Pfeiffer Hipace 300 Iso-K is a rugged, powerful turbopump with a pumping speed of up to 260 I/s for N2. It features hybrid bearing technology and integrated TC 400 drive electronics. The integrated drive electronics prevent costly cabling. The electronic drive unit automatically regulates the drive power down in the event of excessive temperatures.
What is hybrid bearing technology?
The combination of a ceramic ball bearing on the fore-vacuum side and a permanently magnetic radial bearing on the high vacuum side is called a hybrid bearing. This bearing technology does not require electromagnets and has a long service life with maintenance intervals of approximately 4 years. The ball bearing and the operating fluid reservoir can be replaced on-site within less than 30 minutes.
