This SDI transceiver SFP module is an option for the PHABRIX SxTAG.

The PHSFP-RT30HDBNC is an SDI video transceiver module designed to transmit and receive SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI serial digital signals as defined in SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M.

This is an electrical SFP transceiver module designed to transmit and receive SDI signals up to 2.97 Gbps over 75Ω coaxial cables via HD-BNCTM connectors. The equalizer features DC restoration to compensate for the DC content of SMPTE pathological test patterns.

Note that Non-MSA SFP modules were developed for video broadcast and their pin-outs and signal levels are not compatible with MSA SFP modules
