The Phenix Model HC3 Mobile High Current Test Sets are ideal for testing thermal, magnetic, and solid-state motor overload relays as well as molded-case circuit breakers and ground fault trip devices. The units are constructed with large pneumatic wheels for mobility in the roughest terrain. Designed using the latest technology; these units combine a variable high current output with the appropriate controls and instrumentation. The test sets have a maximum output current rating of 3000 and 5000 amps (HC3/HC5 respectively) and feature a digital ammeter and timer. The timer displays in both cycles or seconds modes. They can also be used in many other applications requiring a high current source.
