True RMS Compact Benchtop Multimeter
The Rigol DM858 series benchtop digital multimeter provides a highly cost-effective test tool for engineers. It features 5.5-digit resolution, 11 measurement functions, 5 Math operations, and 3 graphical display types, satisfying what most experiments and tests require of a multimeter.
Rigol offers two versions of this product – the DM858 and DM858E. The chart below provides an overview of several main differences in each.

Very small footprint – uses minimal bench space
Rigol has designed the DM858 to be an easy to use and compact instrument. At only 10.5” x 6.5” x 3.1” (W x H x D) and weighing only 2.8 pounds, the DM858 takes up very little bench space and is portable. In addition, the rear of the instrument features a VESA 100 mounting pattern, enabling it to be mounted on an arm (arm sold separately).

7 inch color touch screen and graphical display
The DM858 features a 7 inch color touch screen (1024×600) with dual display measurement capability. This saves users from switching between measurements, making it easier to observe and analyze data. Its graphical display visualizes data in a trend plot, histogram or bar chart.
Measurement functions
The DM858 supports a broad range of measurement functions including AC/DC voltage and current, 2 and 4 wire resistance, frequency, period, continuity, diode, capacitance, as well as a several sensor measurements.
Easy to carry and use in the field
The DM858 isn’t only small and lightweight, it can also be powered through a USB-C interface. Users can connect the instrument to a portable battery for testing needs in the field (battery not included).
Flexible control and operation
The DM858 has standard USB and LAN interfaces for flexible PC connectivity and supports remote control via Web Control.
